About FAMM
Faith & Mind Ministry (FAMM) is all about integrating faith and psychology to support better mental health. Through inspiring events, real conversations, and practical tools, we create safe, uplifting spaces where humans can grow, heal, and find hope—rooted in compassion, community, and self-discovery.
Hi, I’m Neida Santini, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) offering counselling in English and Spanish for individuals, couples, and families, both in Ottawa and online. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you can be fully yourself—no judgment, just understanding and support as you navigate life’s challenges.
With over 13 years of experience in mental health advocacy, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside many people on their journeys toward healing—and I’ve walked that road myself. I’m certified in Pastoral Care and trained as a Third-Party Neutral, and I’ve volunteered as a Crisis Responder, supporting individuals through moments of crisis and growth. Along the way, I’ve also shared my personal story through talks and workshops across Ottawa and New York State, including with Government of Canada departments.
My integrative approach draws from Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy (NT), Attachment-based principles, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and family-of-origin practices. When it aligns with a client’s values, I also integrate elements of Christian faith to support deeper healing and meaning-making.
My lived experience has shaped the way I connect—with warmth, honesty, and compassion. I understand how hard it can be to reach out for help, but I also know the courage it takes to start. Healing begins when you feel seen, heard, and supported.
